While the issue of public debt occupies a central place in economic and political debates in France, between budgetary necessities and growth prospects, taxation is also the subject of major developments and discussions.

The current economic climate, marked by recent government announcements and the challenges of balancing public finances, raises many questions about the strategies to be adopted.

This breakfast meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss these issues and benefit from valuable insights provided by our speaker François ECALLE, an expert in economic policy and public finance, and Lucie MUNIESA, the event's moderator.

François ECALLE is Chairman of FIPECO, Honorary Senior Advisor to the Cour des Comptes, former general rapporteur for the Cour des Comptes report on the situation and outlook for public finances, former member of the Haut Conseil des Finances Publiques, former member of the Autorité de la Statistique Publique, and lecturer in economic policy at the University of Paris I.
