2021 ENSAE Actuarial Dissertation Prize

Dear Alumni,

ENSAE Paris is joining forces with ENSAE Alumni to reward two students from the actuarial track, class of 2020. This prize is designed to promote the excellence of work carried out in actuarial science by ENSAE students as part of their actuarial dissertation. The Jury has decided to select original work combining high scientific rigor and a strong potential for future applications for the actuarial community and companies in the insurance sector.

The winner of the 2021 prize is Laurène MARTIN for her dissertation "Mortality risk modeling with Machine Learning". The jury also awarded a special mention this year to Damien LOUREIRO for his dissertation "Using DSN and open data to develop and explain an Incapacity zonier".

We invite you to attend the award ceremony, to be held at ENSAE (5 Av. Le Chatelier, 91120 Palaiseau) on Friday October 15, in the presence of Pierre Biscourp (Director of Ensae), Isabelle Tournassoud (President Ensae Alumni), Philippe Talleux (President of the Institute of Actuaries).
