Club Business Angels

December 7 to 11, 2009 Business Angels Week is a national promotional event dedicated entirely to potential investors and business angels. France Angels, the national association for the promotion of investment by Business Angels and the national federation of 80 Business Angels networks (3,800 individuals), co-organizes Business Angels Week with local networks, with the aim of raising awareness of the activities of Business Angels and their networks. The theme of this 4th edition is "Entrepreneurial Adventure". It will be stopping off in Marseille, Paris, Saint-Brieuc, Toulouse and Lyon. In 2009, the aim is to highlight the essential role played by Business Angels in the regional ecosystem: financing innovative companies, job creation, local and regional economic dynamics.... Indeed, the contribution of Business Angels is not limited to financial support: depending on their profile and availability, they offer genuine human support to entrepreneurs. What's more, the presence of business angels can help bring innovative, job-creating projects to life in a given region. Business Angels are men and women who act as "coaches" throughout the investment period. Business Angels are also among the few investors who "dare" to finance the start-up phase of innovative and ground-breaking companies - the riskiest period in their financial life.
