Ensae Alumni warmly congratulates Guillaume Dureau, President Orano Projets and Director R&D, Innovation, Medical Nuclear, Magnet Batteries, for the #Innovation of the Year prize awarded by L'Usine Nouvelle for Orano Med .

A graduate of École Polytechnique and ENSAE, with a DEA in Economic Analysis and Policy from EHESS, Guillaume Dureau has built a remarkable career serving economic, industrial and technological issues in France and abroad.

He began his career at INSEE, before joining the Ministry of the Economy and Finance, where he served as Inspector of Finance at the IGF. He then pursued his career in the nuclear energy sector: Director of Strategy and Internal Audit at Framatome, then Director of Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions and Economic Studies for the AREVA group. He took on new responsibilities as Deputy Director of the Areva NP Equipment BU and sat on the Board of ETC, before becoming CEO of Enrichment Technology Company Ltd.

Back at AREVA, he successively managed the Upstream and Downstream Business Groups, before joining Orano, where he held leading positions on the Executive Committee. President of Orano Projets since 2019, he also oversees innovation, R&D, medical nuclear and the batteries and magnets businesses.

This career path illustrates Guillaume Dureau's commitment, vision and capacity for innovation, recently recognized by the "Innovation of the Year" distinction awarded to Orano Med by L'Usine Nouvelle.
