Two ENSAE alumni awarded Turgot Prizes

The 24th Turgot Prize, which rewards the best French financial economics book of the year, was awarded on April 12 to Augustin Landier and David Thesmar (1997) for their latest book, « La Société transludice » ("the transparent society"). Crédit Agricole also awarded them the prize for young talent. The French Minister of Economy Christine Lagarde, congratulated the two young economists, authors of the « Grand Méchant Marché » ("The Bad Big Market") in 2007.

The economist Jean-Marc Daniel (1979) received the special mention for education for his book
« Histoire vivante de la pensée économique » ("Living History of Economic Thought").
