As human beings, we tend to bring our emotions with us to work. Departmental changes, budget cuts, tensions between colleagues, intense pressure - all these can give rise to a variety of negative emotions, such as anxiety, anger or demotivation.
Learning how to manage these emotions can be beneficial, both for yourself and for the people you manage. In this way, you can manage problems before they get out of hand, improve your own performance and that of your team, as well as your relationships. It's all part of self-management and leadership, but it can also have positive repercussions in the personal sphere.
