Appointments - Pierre GRUET (2012) appointed Associate Professor at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne

The Ensae Alumni Association warmly congratulates Pierre Gruet (2012) on his appointment as Associate Professor at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.

A 2012 graduate of ENSAE Paris in mathematics and statistics, Pierre also obtained a Master 2 in random modeling and a PhD in applied mathematics at Université Paris Cité.

His professional career is marked by a strong involvement in research and teaching. After starting out as a computer programming self-starter, he worked in project management assistance at Euriware, then at AXA France on the calculation of financial indicators for group retirement portfolios.

Pierre then pursued an academic career as a doctoral student lecturer at the University of Paris, then assistant professor at the Université Paris Cité. In parallel, since 2015 he has held the position of expert research engineer in statistics and market risk management at EDF.

Pierre is also a Debian developer and adjunct professor at the IÉSEG School of Management and ENSTA Paris.

His commitment to both research and the dissemination of knowledge bears witness to his passion for applied mathematics and scientific innovation.
